Safety of use

Atelier Théia carries out numerous quality and resistance tests to ensure your safety in the use of our candles, however, the risk of fire from burning candles is often underestimated. Our advice tells you what to pay attention to.

• Trim the wick to approximately 1cm before each use.
• Never leave burning candles unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving the room.
• Avoid drafts when candles are lit.
• Keep burning candles away from combustible objects such as curtains, wallpaper, bedding, decorations, pine branches, furniture, televisions (...)
• Never light candles near flammable objects.
• A large number of containers transmit heat to the support on which they are placed, we advise you to place our containers (metal pot, glass pot (...) on a completely stable and heat-resistant support.
• Never let children play alone near lit candles. The same applies to pets.
• Always leave 15cm between lit candles.
• Keep matches and lighters out of the reach of children.
• Ventilate the room after each use.
• Wait for the container to cool after extinguishing the candle before handling it.
