• To improve the quality of combustion, before each lighting, cut the wick 1cm from the surface of the wax.

Otherwise: Your candle will have too high a flame and it will burn out too quickly.

• Burn your scented candle long enough, about 3 hours, until the scent diffuses well and the entire upper surface liquefies.

Otherwise : Your candle may burn out and you will lose burning time. This also avoids the formation of a pit.

• Our candles from the "Aura" & "Mnemosyne" collections do not require more than 3h30 maximum heating time for each use.

Otherwise : The essences of perfumes risk degrading at too high a heat.

• To improve the quality of combustion, before each re-lighting, cut the wick 1 cm from the surface of the wax to remove excess wick.

Otherwise : A flame that is too high, smokes and reduces the combustion time.

• When not in use, avoid placing your candle near sources of light and heat (facing a bay window, near a working radiator, above a lit fireplace).

Otherwise : Degradation of the visual appearance and uneven melting of the wax.

Please note that the candle is contained in a jar which may be made of metal or glass. When lit, the jar may become hot. Be careful not to burn yourself by touching it and avoid placing it on heat-sensitive surfaces.
